It is never easy for an anesthesiologist to administer the right amount of anesthesia. Intraoperative anesthesia is far more than just "an injection". On the one hand, inadequate anesthesia may lead to a traumatic experience for the patient and severe pain during a procedure. On the other hand, an anesthesia overdose can cause decreased heart rate and blood pressure and even endanger the patient's life. Therefore, anesthesiologists need an accurate grasp of its depth to make precise judgments throughout the anesthesia process.

To ensure the right patient consciousness level, anesthesiologists need to closely observe the patient and continuously adjust the anesthesia machine accordingly to monitor results.
